General Manager -(Southeast)- Virginia

  • The General Manager must be fully capable of providing expert guidance and advice to the company leadership on all aspects of the plants manufacturing and sales function.  Responsible for the production, distribution, and marketing operations of the plant.   

  • Direct the production and operation of the plant by reviewing production costs and product quality on a weekly basis.  

  • Modify production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of the plant.  

  • Coordinate production, distribution, warehousing, and sales in accordance with company policies, principles, and procedures.  

  • Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employee morale.

 SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.  A Master’s degree would be a preferred advantage.   This individual should have the capabilities to deal with a broad range of cultures, including  INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS, and be able to communicate internally and externally. Should have prior supplier experience with the Japanese big 3 (Toyota, Honda and Nissan) and come from organizations that have an emphasis on excellence and lean principles such as General Electric, Danaher, United Technologies, etc.

 

EXPERIENCE                                   

The successful candidate will:
  • Have seven to ten years of progressive experience in manufacturing, with measurable achievements and results in general  management dealing with a variety of automotive customers including Japanese transplants.

  • Be a highly experienced production professional capable of synthesizing complex information and relating it to upper management at the board level.

Group CFO- Chief Financial Officer  (Southeast)- Atlanta

  • Oversight of forecasting activities, including applying industry experience and knowledge to refine accuracy of forecasts for four plants and $400 million in sales.

  • Reports to the Group President.

  • Responsible for coordination and preparation of annual budget and long-range plan. 

  • The CFO is responsible for ensuring a budget and long-range plan that stretches the group to optimal achievement.

  • Must analyze, interpret and communicate complex financial information to the financial community and non-financial management.

  • Oversight of cost accounting functions including projected costs for purposes of customer quoting and company Appropriation Requests. 

  • Familiarity with database applications VBA, SQL or MS Query highly desired

  • Understanding of the relationship of plant costs to market pricing and key advisor to the President on profit decisions.

Responsibilities
This position exists to lead the Government Contracts pricing and cost estimatring functions. The individual in this position will drive the creation and implementation of strategic pricing directives for government solutions. The Director of Business Development  is responsible for the development of strategy in military/government and commercial markets; and for coordinating new program efforts with other business development resources throughout the organization.  Specifically, this individual will:
